Quality and food safety all have a high priority
The quality and food safety of the raw materials, the production process and the end product, all have a high priority at Hermus Made B.V. The raw materials are purchased at certified suppliers with whom we have developed a long term relationship with. We work with pure products and strive to buy our raw materials from local suppliers from the Netherlands or if not possible from Europe.
In 2015 we raised our quality system to a higher level by changing from HACCP to the FSSC22000 food safety management system. We are proud to say that in January 2016 we achieved the FSSC 22000 certificate. We have chosen this standard because it is important to us that the food safety system complies with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is worldwide accepted. Our motivated employees work continuously to pursue the food safety standard and yearly the food safety system is subjected to an audit by an auditor of Control Union.

Hermus Made supports 100% organic. Organic products are grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemical, fertilisers, or GMOs. In short, respect for nature, environment, animals and human beings. Standards to achieve this are internationally recognised, and are assured through annual audits of all certified operators by an independent third party auditor. SKAL is the control body for organic regulations in the Netherlands. Hermus Made is a member of the organisation for organic producers and BioKap.

Demeter certified bio-dynamics is an enhanced holistic biological farming practice, which is highly regarded by both farmers and consumers for product quality, with the health of the soil being at the heart of production.
